Georgia PTA is excited to once again team with Scholastic Books to offer our members an amazing benefit to support reading and literacy for our youngest readers. Bookflix ® is an online reading resource that provides access to over 100 fiction, animated stories along with a paired non-fiction book. Many titles are offered in both English and Spanish.  

This resource is designed to help pre-K – 3rd graders become independent readers. Books are divided into the following categories: 

• Animals and Nature
• Earth and sky
• People and places
• ABCs and 123s
• Family and community
• Music and Rhyme
• Adventure
• Celebrations
• Imagination

These books are narrated aloud (often my famous celebrities) with words highlighted to build word recognition and include interactive games to build vocabulary.

With schools closed over the breaks and many libraries also inaccessible, Georgia PTA and Scholastic want to provide this member benefit so our youngest readers can keep building their literacy skills until they return to school.
